The European cloud company Cleura announces that the e-commerce company Enode has chosen Cleura Public Cloud as the digital infrastructure foundation for its continued growth.

At the core of the growing SaaS company Enode is an e-commerce platform with associated AI products that automate and streamline e-commerce operations to maximize customer sales. As part of the company’s growth journey, Enode has recently contracted Cleura’s public cloud service for the operation of the platform and AI solutions, and migration of customer environments is now underway.

“Cleura and its modern infrastructure best met our requirements concerning digital innovation capability, scalability, and high availability,” says Henrik Löwenadler, CEO of Enode.

The e-commerce platform will be operated in Cleura Public Cloud, on the Kubernetes cluster Gardener, which is integrated into the cloud service. This setup gives Enode access to built-in automation features like auto-scaling and automatic updates.

Focus on availability and scalability

“Our e-commerce platform is crucial to our customers’ business – constant availability is a requirement. With Cleura, we can be confident that our customers’ stores are always online. This is significant to us and our customers,” says Henrik Löwenadler.

With clear peak demand during, for example, Christmas shopping, Black Week, and other campaigns, Enode needed to choose an operating model that enables high scalability—a requirement that Cleura Public Cloud meets.

“It’s reassuring to know that we can easily increase capacity in Cleura’s infrastructure when customer needs change. Another advantage is that we can grow with Cleura as we expand,” says Henrik Löwenadler.

European cloud is important for customers

“For us, and many of our customers, it was crucial that Cleura is a European company whose cloud services comply with European data protection legislation. Several of our customers already require that all data must be stored and managed in Sweden by a European provider,” explains Henrik Löwenadler.

Enode has approximately 300 customers who use the e-commerce platform. In addition to e-commerce technology, Enode also offers consulting services in sales and marketing. The company works primarily with companies in the private sector but also has several customers in the public sector. Currently, the business is mainly focused on the Swedish market, but there are expansion plans.

“We are proud of the trust we have been given to secure the operation of Enode’s e-commerce platform. With its focus on digital innovation, need for scalability and high availability requirements, Enode is an excellent example of a company that creates both customer and business value by operating its business in our European cloud,” says Johan Christenson, founder of Cleura.
