The European cloud company City Network today announced an intensified focus on innovation and growth as founder Johan Christenson will assume an entirely new role as Vice President Innovation. In parallel, Jim Johansson has been appointed Managing Director of City Network. The company, which focuses on regulatory compliant cloud services for the European market, is making this change to elevate its business strategy, further intensify its focus on innovation and continue to build and develop its open and flexible infrastructure cloud services with full automation capabilities.

With Johan able to devote his full attention to innovation, we will speed up this process further as Jim takes over the day-to-day management of City Network. As the founder of City Network, Johan has always focused on innovation and growth. As VP Innovation, he will now be devoted to developing the company’s services further, in close collaboration with the innovation team at City Network as well as customers and partners.

As the new Managing Director, Jim Johansson will lead City Network across all markets. Joining the company in 2020, and having served as CMO for two years, Jim has a solid understanding of the service portfolio and company culture, and has also been deeply involved in setting the strategy for the future.
