City Network, a leading European supplier of cloud services based on OpenStack, has announced a new agreement with the rapidly growing European electronic signing and eID company Scrive. As a company with signing of legally binding documents as its core offering, security, trust and compliance are fundamental elements of Scrive’s business. To meet the demands imposed by these, the company has chosen to run and innovate its services on City Network’s Compliant Cloud infrastructure.
Trusted by more than 6,000 customers in 50 plus countries, Scrive is one of the world’s fastest growing e-signature and digital identity companies. Based in Stockholm, the company aims to become the largest e-signature company in the European market. By leveraging the compliant and regulatory infrastructure cloud from City Network, Scrive will meet customers’ increasing demands for a service hosted and owned by a European company.
“There is huge demand for e-signing and eID solutions, and at Scrive we are committed to becoming the dominant company in the European market. Given the lack of a data processing agreement between the EU and the US, we have decided to run Scrive via a European and fully compliant cloud. Here, City Network has proven to be the natural and best alternative for us,” says Tage Borg, CTO of Scrive.
Initially, Scrive will run its services on City Network’s compliant cloud hosted in its data center in Stockholm. The IT infrastructure cloud service enables companies to enjoy all of the advantages of the cloud, run innovation and services with the highest security standards, and ensure all data processed adheres to European data laws and regulations.
“City Network is a cloud partner that not only meets the high security standards that our customers and we have, it will also be an essential part of our growth strategy as its presence in different European markets enables us to grow with them,” Tage Borg comments.
With this agreement, City Network adds another fast-growing partner to its cloud stack, and Johan Christensen, CEO and founder of City Network, is looking forward to the collaboration:
“Automating and securely managing the agreement process quickly and easily increases control and saves time for any organization. As a user of Scrive, I know that its services provide all of this. With its focus on security and compliance, I am thrilled that City Network has an opportunity to be part of its growth journey and its ambition to set a new standard in e-signing.”
