City Network continues to grow and have now found its way to the capital of Scandinavia. The new office will open within a couple of weeks and is located in central Stockholm. Simultaneously City Network hires Max Ansbro as head of sales in Scandinavia.
The office in Stockholm will serve as City Networks lead sales office for Scandinavia. The intent is to have more than 10 people in Stockholm in the near future and continue to serve both the existing customers in the area but also improve the reach to new customers. As City Network already has two data centers in Stockholm technical staff will be added as well.
The company management has always taken a great pride in operating City Network from the city of Karlskrona, located in the south-east of Sweden. Karlskrona is home to some of the largest Telecom companies in Europe and is often called the Telecom City of Sweden.
Johan Christenson, CEO of City Network assures that the opening of a new office in Stockholm will in no way affect the operations or jobs in the main office in Karlskrona. Karlskrona will continue to be HQ for City Network. We are making sure that we are available for our customers and by being close we can serve them better. Being present in Stockholm brings us closer to a large portion of our Swedish customers and allows for better development of the market in general. We differentiate ourselves by speaking our customers language and being available for them to discuss solutions. Being in Stockholm helps us greatly achieve this goal in Scandinavia, Johan says.
Just the fact that City Network has made this amazing journey is inspiring and being able to take part in accelerating our business is a fantastic opportunity. Scandinavia and Sweden in particular is leading the way in Europe when it comes to cloud hosting and it is incredibly exiting to be part of this fast growing industry, says Max Ansbro, Head of Sales at City Network.
I’m very exited and cant wait to get to work. As soon as I get settled down my top priority is to start building a new team in our Stockholm office. This will really be an exciting year both for the company and me personally, he says.
