Cleura, the European Cloud, and Saab have entered a strategic collaboration around cloud-based digital infrastructure. The defense and security company has chosen Cleura as a partner as it modernizes its operations using the company’s cloud technology.
Saab has carried out an extensive procurement in which Cleura’s cloud technology met Saab’s high demands on robustness, innovation, and functionality.
The agreement with Saab is multi-year and one of the most extensive to date for the cloud company headquartered in Karlskrona, Sweden.
“We look forward to working with Saab. The cooperation is strong proof that our cloud services meet the highest requirements regarding security, compliance, and innovation“, says Jim Johansson, CEO of Cleura.
The cloud services will be implemented at Saab to operate current services and solutions and for future innovation. As part of the agreement, Cleura, in close collaboration with Saab, will design, implement and operate the company’s private cloud.
Furthermore, the private cloud service is designed based on European data legislation and the rigorous security requirements of the defense industry.
Cleura is the European cloud, offering fully automated digital infrastructure services for companies that want to innovate without sacrificing data privacy. By delivering compliant and secure infrastructure technology built on open-source, Cleura provides organisations with a sustainable foundation for innovation with complete control over their data. As a part of Iver, Cleura is headquartered in Sweden with cloud zones across the world.
