Cleura Public Cloud

Cleura Public Cloud is a European IaaS that delivers scalable and future-proof cloud computing power for developers and SMB. It allows for rapid building, testing and deployment of applications and virtual infrastructure using automation tools and code, both from a user-friendly interface and via API.

Cleura Public Cloud is built using OpenStack giving its users the freedom to innovate without vendor lock-in. Cleura provides this digital infrastructure from data centers in Stockholm, Frankfurt and Karlskrona.

Which features does Cleura Public Cloud offer?

Cleura Public Cloud delivers core cloud resources at an optimized price, leveraging the capabilities and inherent transparency of the OpenStack platform.

Virtual machines

Cleura Public Cloud’s virtual machines deliver versatile and cost-effective compute power for a broad range of workloads. They are dynamically provisioned based on a customizable mix of virtual CPUs (vCPUs) and virtual RAM (vRAM) defined by the user.

Container orchestration

Cleura Container Orchestration Engine (CCOE) streamlines running containerized applications on Cleura Cloud by removing the burden of managing complex infrastructure. Seamlessly integrating with Cleura Public Cloud, it allows for efficient scaling and management of hundreds or even thousands of Kubernetes clusters.

Cloud storage

Cloud storage in Cleura Public Cloud includes a range of services tailored to specific data storage needs.

Block storage

Designed for storing structured data, such as files and application data with consistent performance and predictable latency.

Low-latency Disk

Optimized for fast and responsive access to data and overall system performance by reduced read/write times.

Object storage

Ideal for unstructured data such as images, videos, and documents. Cleura’s object storage service offers a high level of scalability and allows for creation of buckets (containers) and storage objects, as well as managing bucket and object policies.

Snapshots

Snapshots preserve a precise moment and state of your virtual machines, enabling swift recovery from accidental deletions or corruption.

Disaster recovery

Disaster recovery backup images for restoring data and resuming operations in the event of a major disaster.

Data replication

Data stored in object storage can be replicated across multiple data centers or regions to safeguard against physical hardware failures or regional disruptions.

Cloud Networking

Virtual Private Cloud Networking

One or more Virtual Private Clouds are provided, allowing users to create, configure, and manage them within a logically isolated tenant environment where network communication is restricted to the tenant. Users can implement a custom virtual network, including IP ranges, subnets, virtual routers, SNAT, security groups, and firewall ACL policies. An IPsec-based VPN gateway is available for connecting to other networks such as internal offices, other tenants, data centers, or clouds. Both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported.

Floating IP

Floating IP provides a public IPv4 address. The defined public IP address enables a connection to a virtual network map of the user resources in Cleura Public Cloud from and to the Internet, or user defined networks.

Load balancer

The load balancing service automatically distributes traffic on multiple cloud servers to balance workloads. Furthermore, the load balancer allows for integration into auto-scaling.

Software defined networking
  • Load balancer
  • VPNaaS (VPN-as-a-Service) with limitations outside site-to-site configurations
  • Virtual networks with L2/L3 support
  • Virtual routers
  • Security Groups with flexible policy management
  • Network isolation and segmentation
